Fyi...City Council meetings have changed to the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6pm. Next meeting is March 11th at 6pm.

Fyi....sewer and garbage bills will be in the mail by Friday 1/16/26. We are in the process of updating our invoicing and will be accepting online payments at no additional charge. The due date for Jan will be extended to 1/31/2026.

Remember, you can always drop a payment off at Stutsman County wood works, with or without an invoice, at any time using the payment drop box on the South side of the building.

Someone called in a playground equipment intervention - those rickety wooden bars and rungs are out, and snazzy metal rungs and bars are in! Next spring, a new canvas canopy and a fresh coat of stain.

SCWW has a cauldron full of spooktacular treats, and they're giving them out to all the little ghosts and goblins that stop by Halloween evening from 5pm to 7pm.

Power update....our power can't be diverted through Kensal as they have about a mile and a half of transmission lines down there. There are 8 poles down on highway 20, so that is what they are fixing. Estimated time of power return is approx 3pm today. Of course that is all subject to change. The lineman are working as quick as they can to get us back online!
On the plus side....the city escaped this storm with minor damage this time around!
