Don't forget that medal applications can be submitted to our office by the Korean War veteran or their next of kin until September 30 to be involved in our November medal ceremony.

Did you or a loved one serve in Korea from June 25, 1950 to July 27, 1953? Veterans who served during this time and have the Korean Service Medal, Korean War Service Medal, or the United Nations Service Medal listed on their DD-214 may be eligible for the Ambassador for Peace medal offered with gratitude from the Republic of South Korea. Our office is accepting applications until September 30 for involvement in our medal ceremony in November.
