Did you miss your first opportunity to join us for Jr. Lady Jacket Select Basketball Tryouts? Here is a second chance to get out and make it happen. A second tryout is being held Wednesday 9/9 from 6-8 pm at Wilson Jr. High.

The heat is coming in strong this week!

Our teachers and staff will be keeping a close eye on the temperature to make the best decisions for outdoor recess safety and will make sure everyone gets plenty of extra water breaks.

To help your child stay cool and comfortable all day, please consider sending them with:
🔸A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated outdoors and during breaks.
🔸A light sweatshirt or jacket for inside—our air conditioning will be working hard, and classrooms can get a bit chilly!

Week one is officially in the books! 📚

From big smiles and non-stop laughter to hands-on learning, it has been wonderful having our hallways and classrooms filled with our students and staff again. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things our students accomplish this year! 🌟

It’s been great seeing all the smiles in the lunchroom the last three days! We’re off to a great start with students following our lunchroom expectations like true Rue Rockstars!

We are so excited for day 2 with students back in the building! Just a few reminders to help make our dismissal process run smoothly:

-Kindergarten dismisses off the little playground
-3rd & 4th grades dismiss on the platt (big playground)
-1st, 2nd, & 5th grades dismiss out the front

If you have children dismissing out multiple locations, please communicate with your child's teacher if you'd like them to meet a sibling to go out a different door than their class.

Please also note the information in the flier attached about when cars can start to arrive for dismissal. Thank you for your help with this!
