Hiring Chickamauga and Guntersville Lock Electricians

Are you an experienced electrician or mechanic looking for a rewarding federal career? The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is seeking a Lock and Dam Equipment Mechanic to maintain our vital navigation locks.

Facilities and Locations: Chickamauga Lock (Chattanooga, TN) and Guntersville Lock (Grant, AL).

Pay Range: $30.64 - $35.76 / hour.

Incentives: Recruitment/Relocation incentives (up to 25%) and Permanent Change of Station allowances may be authorized.

Duties: Maintaining and repairing electrically controlled lock gates, valves, haulage units, electrical panels, transformers, and other equipment.

Key Requirements: 1 year of equipment maintenance experience, including knowledge of 3-phase 480V electrical systems, motor controls, power distribution systems, electronic controls, and hydraulics.
