Cox case........

Recently, I saw a few folks asking for transparency on the Cox case and I couldn't agree more. I reached out to our CAO and County Council and asked for transparency on this case and to provide documents and/or links to the case.

Here is a link to the actual opinion on the case (it's quite lengthy):

I love the fact our Sheriff's Department is reaching out to north county to see what concerns/interests/input etc... we have here and are hosting a public get together (date not set yet) soon.

Here's a link with a few questions they ask us to fill out for them providing them with some information to better serve us and to plan the meeting.

This is awesome!

You know it's not going to be a good call when the Sheriff calls at 7am, this was one of those times.

The victim is such a wonderful person and she's strong, damn strong so I'm hoping she recovers. Prayers for her and the family are more than welcome. I'll update as I get info.

At least the suspect isn't walking on our earth every again from his own cowardly act.

We're all praying for her.

UPDATE 11:20AM- Immediately following yesterday’s incident, the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office issued a BOLO, “Be on the Lookout” to all neighboring law enforcement agencies.

Capron was located in the Modesto area by the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office. As sheriff’s deputies attempted to contact him, Capron shot himself. Medical aid was immediately rendered, and Capron was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased from self-inflicted injuries.

UPDATE 9:30AM- Capron has been located. Further information will be released at a later time as the investigation continues.

The county has just released the dates for the Utility District meetings for Coulterville and Lake Don Pedro (see below). Please share this to every neighbor you have whom this affects, or tell them in person of these meetings.

I've been asked to mention the county is aware there is another post announcing meetings for this weekend and next weekend, and that neither of those meetings are hosted by the county, only these posted here.

I asked the county representatives to host these meetings on the 16th, a Saturday to optimize the possibility of having as many folks attend as possible. This is an important one folks, please try and attend if you are a rate payer in Coulterville (wastewater and water) or Lake Don Pedro (wastewater).

For those of us in North County, this man is going to be sorely missed due to his retiring. Always smiling....and I mean ALWAYS smiling, Eddie has warmed our hearts for decades.

Wishing you the very best Eddie, go work on those old cars now.....

Firstly, please share this to anyone who is a rate payer for sewer and/or water in Lake Don Pedro or Coulterville.

Here is my view on the major topic of the proposal by an outside agency hired to evaluate the rates in these two districts.

It is on the Board of Supervisors agenda this Tuesday.
