Jail Board Meeting Schedule Update

NOTICE is hereby given that the Potter County Jail Board has voted to hold its meetings quarterly on the first Friday of each quarter moving forward.

The meetings previously scheduled for September 11, November 6, and December 4 have been canceled. The only remaining Jail Board meeting for 2026 will be held on Friday, October 2.

Potter County is in dire need of poll workers!

Poll workers play an essential role in making sure Election Day runs smoothly and that every voter has a positive experience at the polls. Duties may include checking in voters, assisting with voting equipment, providing instructions, and helping maintain an organized polling place.

No prior experience is necessary and training will be provided, and the County pays you for your time on Election Day!

If you are dependable, friendly, and interested in serving your community, please consider becoming a poll worker. Your help is truly needed and greatly appreciated!

The Potter County Commissioners will be holding a series of town hall meetings through the end of 2026. These meetings will provide an opportunity for open discussion, new ideas, honest feedback, and conversations about the issues that matter to our communities.

Our first meeting will be held:

5:00–6:30 p.m.
Gunzburger Building, 1 N. Main Street, Coudersport

Additional meetings are scheduled for October 13 and December 8 (following Planning Commission) at the same time and place.

All residents are encouraged to attend. Join us as we listen, learn, and work together to help Potter County grow!
