We’re hiring! Friends of the Verde River is seeking a Restoration and GIS Specialist to support hands-on river restoration and GIS-based conservation work across the Verde River watershed.

This hybrid position is based in Cottonwood, AZ with seasonal fieldwork throughout the watershed. The role combines field restoration, invasive plant management, vegetation monitoring, and ArcGIS mapping to directly support the health of the Verde River system.

We are interviewing on a rolling basis, and the target start date is late July 2026. Compensation starts at $22/hour + benefits (DOE).
