The Oregonian has called the race for Senate District 6 in my favor and I would like to thank every single person who campaigned with us through the ups and downs to make this win possible. All of the volunteers, supporters, and everyone who endorsed. You proved that the best part of campaigns are the people.

I would like to especially thank my campaign manager Brock Allen who toughed out every moment with me and drove to Linn County to knock on doors in the rain time and again. Last but not least, my deepest thanks to my wife, Ali Tibbetts, who supported this effort, and tirelessly watched the boys while I campaigned. She is the strongest of women, and I thank God for blessing my life with her.

Life, and all of its wonderful experiences, made me into the strong conservative I am today and that is a conviction I will carry with me to Salem. This election came down to who the people of the southeast Willamette Valley trusted to represent their values in Salem, and now it is my turn to prove that trust was well placed.

I would also like to extend my congratulations to Representative Jami Cate and Nicole De Graff on hard fought campaigns and wish them well in their future endeavors.

I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who supported this effort. Some of you sent money, some gave time, some sent prayers, some gave much-needed advice, and some gave votes.

Campaigning can be negative, challenging, and frustrating, to be sure. But the bad of campaigning pales in comparison to the good: the friendships you make, the things you learn from others, the discussions you have, and the shared cause of making our lives better through principled action.

So many of you have been be a big part of my life for the past six months, and - win, lose, or draw - you will continue to be. I am forever in your debt. I hope tonight goes the way we want it to. Not for the sake of winning, but for the sake of serving. It would bring me no greater honor than to be your fighter in Salem.

Thank you for standing with me and beside me. If I am elected, it will be my turn to stand with you.

Lastly, now that the knives are back in their sheaths, and the barroom floor is being mopped up, I hope you will join me in actively supporting the Republican Nominees up and down the ticket after today’s primary. Put aside any grudges, animosity, or hurt feelings.

Time to march on for the common cause.

-Jack

The cost of living in Oregon is outpacing retirement and Social Security benefits, that’s why when I’m elected as your state senator I will fight to repeal property taxes for seniors.

Make sure to get out and vote before 8 PM this coming Tuesday, May 19th.

One thing that’s great about putting yourself out there and meeting voters is that you learn from them. In my case, I spoke with a voter from Oakridge today who has a great idea to reduce fuel prices here in Oregon, in a way that everyone should agree on. If elected, you can count on me to fight for getting rid of Oregon’s boutique fuel to reduce the cost-per-gallon by roughly 40 cents. This is good government. This is common sense.

My opponent is desperately running away from her leftwing voting record, but the facts are stubborn things:

Jami Cate voted YES on House Bill 3294, in 2021 which placed tampons in all K-12 boys’ bathrooms.

This bill funneled more than $6 MILLION to one of the most ridiculous LGBTQ pipe dream bills in the history of America.

As a father with a son entering the public school system next year, I will have to have a conversation with him about what tampons are and why they are in his bathroom. This isn't bad public policy, this is nonsense that is exposing our kids to a radical left agenda at too young of an young age.

When you run in a primary, you have to ask yourself: "is someone else in this race I can get behind? Can I let someone else do the job, so I can focus on family and my businesses?" I did ask myself this question, and when I learned Cate voted for this, I knew I needed to step into the race. These are not conservative values. This is not fighting for families and kids. This is obscene.
