We are honored to welcome Senator Malcolm Augustine, District 47, as our keynote speaker for this special event as we come together to commemorate Juneteenth, celebrate freedom, and reflect on its enduring significance in our nation's history.

♻️🏡✨ Thank You, Cottage City Residents for making this year's Dumpster Days weekend a success! It was wonderful to see our community come together to help keep our town clean, safe, and beautiful.

We hope residents were able to take advantage of the dumpsters provided by the Town to dispose of unwanted items and tackle some of their projects. Your participation helps make a positive difference throughout our .

Thank you to all the residents who came out for Day 1 of Dumpster Days! We appreciate everyone doing their part to help keep our community clean, safe, and beautiful.

We'll be back at it again tomorrow (Sunday) from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for cars and pickup trucks. This is a great opportunity to clean out your home, garage, basement, or shed and properly dispose of unwanted items.

Bring your items to Town Hall, and Cottage City Staff will be there to assist you. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

A special thank you to our Town staff for their hard work and dedication in helping make this event a success and serving our community throughout the weekend.

The Towns of Cottage City and Colmar Manor are excited to come together in a spirit of partnership, friendship, and shared community pride for a special overnight camping experience.

This joint event reflects our ongoing commitment to regional collaboration—bringing residents of both communities together to build relationships, strengthen neighborhood ties, and create lasting memories in a safe and welcoming environment.

Today we honor the heroes and sacrifices of so many who gave their lives in service to our nation. 🇺🇸

Photos from the 2026 Memorial Day Program hosted by the Town of Bladensburg.

A special thank you to Renee Green of the Bladensburg Patriotic Committee and Cynthia DeLeon, Post Commander 131, for organizing this meaningful program each year for the Port Towns Community.

We also extend our appreciation to Commissioner Tom Campos, Commissioner Joshua Durant, and Chief Martini for proudly representing the Town of Cottage City.

This Memorial Day, we honor the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and our country.

Please join us for a Memorial Day Ceremony at Bladensburg Memorial Grove Park, near the Peace Cross.
