Just a friendly reminder. Happy Memorial Day!

As many of you know, we are working hard to improve and maintain the grounds around the Coshocton County Courthouse. Recently, we invested in grass seed and treatment in several areas to help restore and grow new grass. Once this ground maintenance work is completed, regular mowing will resume.

During the Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony, we kindly ask everyone to please avoid the treated areas as much as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

We take great pride in keeping our Courthouse looking magnificent for our community and visitors, and we are hopeful these efforts will give us beautiful grass very soon!

Thank you for your cooperation and support.

Happy Memorial Day, and please have a safe holiday weekend.

The office will also be closed Monday, May 25, 2026 in observance of the holiday.

Ohio Department of Job and Family Services Director Matt Damschroder recently visited the Coshocton Senior Center, taking time to meet with the administrators of Kno-Ho-Co-Ashland Community Action Commission (KHCA) and learn more about the valuable services they provide to our community.

During his visit, Director Damschroder also participated in planting a tree at the Senior Center—a meaningful symbol of growth, support, and continued investment in the people we serve.

Community Action Commissions have traditionally operated under the Ohio Department of Development and have recently transitioned to ODJFS. This visit provided an opportunity to better understand the impact of programs offered by KHCA, including the important role of the Coshocton Senior Center.

We appreciate the continued collaboration and commitment to strengthening services for residents across our region.
