Temporary Wildlife Intake Restrictions

Airmid Place Wildlife Rehabilitation would like to inform the public that, due to the health circumstances of one of our key administrators, we must temporarily limit our wildlife intake capacity.

Effective immediately, we are unable to accept any new mammal patients and can only accept a limited number of bird admissions. This decision was not made lightly, but it is necessary to ensure that the animals currently in our care continue to receive the high standard of treatment and rehabilitation they deserve.

We remain hopeful that this situation will be temporary and that we will be able to resume normal intake operations in the future. Should our capacity change, we will make an announcement through our website and social media channels.

If you find an injured, orphaned, or distressed wild animal during this period, we encourage you to contact the Ohio Wildlife Center in Columbus or visit the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife website for a list of licensed wildlife rehabilitators serving your area.

We sincerely appreciate the understanding, patience, and support of our community during this challenging time. Thank you for helping us continue our mission of caring for Ohio's native wildlife.
