"By rebuilding communication among agencies, researchers, landowners and local partners, Oregon Sea Grant and OSU Extension help create stronger long-term planning for one of the state’s most important natural and economic systems."

Did you know that a common way boaters fall overboard is going to the bathroom over the side of the vessel? Happy National Safe Boating Week! Does pumping out your boat or using one of Oregon's floating restrooms seem like routine stuff? Well it's actually when accidents happen as it involves you getting in and out of your boat. In this clip, Ashley demonstrates good technique by stepping onboard while holding onto the boat. Remember to keep one hand for you and one for the boat when moving around. And always wear your PFD!
