Experiencing squash burnout? Stealthily abandoning cucurbita young and old on your neighbors doorsteps? Fear not seekers of "36 new ways to cook squash"! Be GRATEful and pull out the 2-ton food processor from the recesses of it's cave, it's time to process!

Grated squash goes seamlessly into a host of dishes from sauces to burger patties. The nutrient dense flesh of the cucurbita family doesn't have to be lost to the dreaded question "how are we going to cook zucchini this time?" Take back those centerpieces of the dinner table and sneak those nutrients into your family's bellies.

Can't bring yourself to do it? Boil some salty water, toss those shreds in for a quick blanch, skim 'em out, and toss 'em in a freezer bag. What we feast on now shall continue to be your bounty in the tomato sauces from the depths of winters icy grips.

Eat well. Be healthy.

Thank you for coming out! It was a great day at the market, hope to see you all next week!

It's easy to blame success and failure on the environment. Often, in us, it's used to protect the ego from damages sustained in pursuit of a goal. But sometimes it's true, sometimes it really is the environment that shapes the course of things to come. Sometimes your head start is your first dead end, sometimes aphids swarm you and you're propelled into the darkness of a silage tarp. Yet there is the potential, even in the darkness, to strive for the light. Even if those around you succumb to what seems an inevitable fate, the light still exists somewhere, and that's what keeps you going. That's what makes the destination worth the journey, that's resiliency.
