Here in Navarro County, we have the very best ones! But the rest of the state has very good ones too!

It's National Volunteer Week! 🎉 We want to thank EVERY CASA volunteer for their service — you're helping thousands of children across Texas see that their life is not defined by, or confined to, the foster care system + that they are worthy of a life and a future beyond their case. 💙

If you know a CASA volunteer, please thank them this week. And if you know someone that you believe would make a great volunteer, submit a CASA volunteer nomination form today at bit.ly/3OEgCQe

According to DFPS data, 70% of children are placed outside of their home counties. 🤯 They’re moved away from their support networks — their homes, relatives, friends, and everything they know. But we don’t leave them on their own. CASA volunteers continue to show up — traveling over a MILLION miles annually to ensure children have a consistent advocate in their lives. 🚗
