🧪🔬 Roadrunner Scientists in Action! 🔬🧪
Our 5th grade scientists put their learning to the test as they explored mass, volume, and density! Students experimented with different liquids to discover which were more or less dense than water while practicing hands-on measurement and observation. We love seeing our Roadrunners learning through discovery! ❤️💛🖤

🌟 Congratulations to Our August Roadrunners of the Month & 2026–2027 Student Ambassadors! 🌟
We are incredibly proud to recognize these outstanding Roadrunners who were selected for demonstrating our PAX Leadworthy Character Trait – Empathy and for consistently showing lead-worthy and exemplary behaviors each day. ❤️
Empathy is the ability to understand and be sensitive to the feelings of others and respond with care and compassion. These students have shown what it means to lead with empathy through their actions and the way they treat those around them.
As our Student Ambassadors, they will also have the honor of serving on our Student Leadership Team throughout the year, representing their classrooms and grade levels and helping provide a student voice on our campus! 🎉
We are so proud of these Roadrunner leaders and can’t wait to see the positive impact they make this year! ❤️🖤💛

The Purple Star designation recognizes schools that go above and beyond to support military-connected students and their families, including helping students transition into a new school community.

🍎 Roadrunner Families — Many of You Have Been Asking!
Beginning next week, September 8th, we will officially open our campus for parent/guardian lunch visits! 🎉
Please review the attached schedule carefully for the designated day each grade level may have lunch visitors. To ensure we have enough seating for everyone, parents/guardians will ONLY be permitted to visit on their grade level’s designated day.
A few important reminders:
🍽️ Parents/guests will have designated seating in the cafeteria to enjoy lunch with their student.
🥡 Outside food may only be brought if the parent/guest is staying to eat with their student.
👨‍👩‍👧 Only parents/guests listed on the student’s emergency contact list will be permitted to eat with the student.
🚫 Food may not be shared with other students/friends.
🪪 All parents/guests must check in through the front office and present a valid ID. No exceptions.
❤️ Please remember: Lunch visitors will ONLY be allowed on their designated grade-level day. This helps us ensure there is enough space in the cafeteria while maintaining a safe and organized lunch environment.

📚✨ Our teachers took a trip to the library and found some great books to bring learning to life in their classrooms! They explored different sections and checked out books that connect to math, grammar, science, and social studies, showing that literacy can be incorporated into every subject! ❤️🖤💛 We love seeing our teachers find creative ways to build a love of reading while supporting learning across all content areas! 📖✨

📚✨ Gifted & Talented (GT) Testing Information! ✨📚

The GT application for students in Grades 1–11 will be available online September 1–November 30. Families interested in having their child considered for GT testing can complete the application here:
