The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department is committed to providing social, recreational and cultural events for the community as well as visitors to Corpus Christi. The Parks and Recreation Department is comprised of nine separate divisions including Administration: Natural Resources and Beach Operations (Gulf & Bay Beaches); Aquatics; Park Maintenance; Park Development, Maintenance and Operation; Program Services: Community Centers, After School Program, Recreational Sports, Youth and Older Adult Programming, Arts, Culture and Special Events.

Sign up for an exciting season with our 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗔𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗼-𝗘𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲! This six-game league will run from November 3 to December 17, with a Thanksgiving break, at the Corpus Christi Gym, located at 3202 Cabaniss Parkway.

𝗧𝗪𝗢 𝗖𝗢-𝗘𝗗 𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦: (6v6 format) 🏐
• Recreational Division will play on Tuesday evenings
• Competitive Division will play on Thursday evenings

𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡:
• 𝗙𝗲𝗲: $400 per team (12 players per team)
• 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Must sign up as a team
• 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁: Only 6 teams per division

National Day of Service and Remembrance

On the September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance, Americans of all ages and backgrounds are invited to join and lead community service projects to honor the lives, legacy, and service of those we lost on 9/11.

To commemorate this day, members of the AmeriCorps Senior RSVP volunteers thanked the first responders from CCFD Fire Station #10 for their service with goodies to start their workday.

The local Americorps Senior RSVP volunteer program is sponsored by the Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department for adults age 55+.

The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department is excited to offer the After Hour Kid Power’s October 2026 Vacation Station, perfect for kids ages 5 to 13! 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟮 𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟳 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽, 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟳:𝟯𝟬 𝗮.𝗺. 𝘁𝗼 𝟲:𝟬𝟬 𝗽.𝗺., at Galvan Elementary School, located at 3126 Masterson Drive. Get ready for an exciting soccer season with our Fall 2026 Micro-Soccer Co-Ed Indoor League, 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝟯 𝘁𝗼 𝟱! This five-game program is perfect for beginners, focusing on fun and learning the basics of soccer. Games will take place on Saturdays from November 7 to December 12, with a break for Thanksgiving, at the Corpus Christi Gym, located at 3202 Cabaniss Parkway.
