This premier outdoor facility is perfect for swim team practices, meets, family reunions, church celebrations, or organization events. The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department announces the repairs have been completed and the Greenwood Pool, located at 4305 Greenwood Drive, will reopen on Saturday, June 13, at 2:00 p.m.

The Greenwood Pool hours of operation are Wednesday – Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

HAPPENING ON JULY 4TH! ✨

The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its 4th Annual Coastal Comida Fest on the Great Lawn at The Water's Edge on Saturday, July 4, from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. to celebrate the holiday. 🌊 🏖️🌴

It's going to be a fun, family-friendly event with lots of delicious food options for you and your loved ones to enjoy, along with LIVE music! Don't forget to bring your lawn chair or blanket to kick back, relax, and soak in all the entertainment. Pets on a leash are welcome.

Come for the food, stay for the fireworks along our bayfront. See you there! 💫💥🧨

The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department is opening five of its splash pads this summer from May 30 to August 9! Due to current water restrictions, the splash pads will operate on a modified schedule from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday through Sunday.

The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department, in partnership with Visit Corpus Christi, invites you to come on out to our scenic bayfront! Listen to live bands, play games, and hang out at The Water’s Edge. Food trucks will provide a wide variety of food options for purchase. "See You at the Seawall!"

Get your children set to learn how to swim this summer! 🏊 ☀️

The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department is offering Group Swim Lessons for youth ages 3 to 17 at the Corpus Christi Natatorium, Greenwood Pool, H-E-B Pool, and West Guth Pool. Summer sessions will run from June 1 to July 30. Each session runs for two consecutive weeks, Monday through Thursday. The fee is only $50 per person per session (8 classes total). Join with a friend.

Exciting Update on Commodore Park!

We're thrilled to announce that Commodore Park on the Island is now 50% complete! From this vantage point, you can see the beautiful concrete walking trail, the newly constructed ADA-compliant parking area, various athletic courts taking shape, and the serene bird observation blind.
This $3.4 million project is set to significantly enhance our beloved regional park, thanks to the support of the voter-approved Bond 2022 and 2024. The innovative design was crafted by Turner Ramirez Architects, and the skilled team at Weaver and Jacobs Constructors is bringing it to life.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to transform Commodore Park into a vibrant community hub!
