Isolated showers and storms east on Saturday will become rain-free Sunday. Heat index values of 110-115 are possible this weekend before a boundary approaches South Texas next work week and increases rain chances with a slight dip in max temperatures.

Heading out to the beach? Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible along the coast over the next couple of days. High temps will settle into the upper 80s under mostly sunny skies. There is a LOW risk of rip currents both today and tomorrow. However, dangerous swimming conditions are still possible, especially near piers and jetties.
