Freedom Friday🦅

We recently released 2 Eastern screech owls this past month🦉

They were brought to our facility this early summer as a baby. We raised them and were able to rehab them until they were juveniles. We were able to get natural behaviors from them, making sure they were able to fly, and show appropriate weight.🐥

We are very happy to have had them and been able to successfully release them! 🙌

Freedom Friday!🦅

We recently released a Red-Shoulder Hawk that was brought to us early summer! ☀️

We first noticed it didn’t have any injuries, but found out it was a juvenile so we started the rehabilitation process right away!

After a couple weeks, it was doing very well showing signs of natural behavior and appropriate weight. We transferred our patient to the flight cage where they showed signs of great mobility. It passed the Live-test exam and was eligible for release! 🦅

Our summer internship is coming to an end☀️

We really enjoyed our time with these interns as we got to see them learn and grow new skills! We are grateful to have given them this opportunity and have helped us with this busy summer! We wish them all the very best at an everything they decide to tackle next! We hope they enjoyed their time as much as we did!✅

International Youth Day! 👫

Today we want to recognize all the young volunteers we get to have on our team! In fact, many of our volunteers being high school and college students! 👍

They help us out tremendously around the facility from preparing diets to doing tours! We are so grateful to have the oportunity to be giving them early hands-on experience with animals and animal rehabilitation. 🦅

We are so proud of our young volunteers and all the work they put into the facility! 💪
