The Kiwanis Club of Padre Island is a service club dedicated to serving the needs of children and the community. Every year we work to provide Island community events like Breakfast with Santa, The Easter Egg Hunt, and two Beach Cleanups. Through Bingos in January and February and a Holiday Nut Sale we raise money for local and international children's causes. Kiwanis is an international organizat
ion of member-volunteers who annually give more than 12 million hours and more than US$107 million to help change the world for the better. Our members’ hands and hearts help those who cannot always help themselves. Join us for a meeting and find out what we're all about. We meet the first and third Wednesdays at noon at The Veranda Restaurant at Schlitterbahn in the back room. Enjoy a delicious lunch and an interesting speaker.
