Development Services had the pleasure of celebrating our Deputy Building Official, Bill Wittliff, Master Code Professional as he begins an exciting new chapter in his career. Bill’s dedication, expertise, and steady leadership have left a meaningful and lasting impact on our department, shaping the way we work and serve our community. His commitment to excellence and willingness to share knowledge has made a difference!

Meet Our Staff!

Jessica Chupoco is one of our dedicated Development Services Representatives, and she plays a vital role in keeping our department running smoothly. Every day, Jessica manages a high volume of calls, messages, and emails, researching complex inquiries across multiple City departments, and supports essential internal communications within the department.
Jessica has been with the City of Corpus Christi for over five years and has proudly served in Development Services for a little more than four years. Outside the office, she loves fishing, gardening, and watching documentaries. Thank you for always going above and beyond, Jessica — we are truly grateful to have you on the team! ✨

We kicked off the morning by celebrating Building Safety Month with a special breakfast for our Land Development Team! This hardworking team plays a key role in building a safer, stronger Corpus Christi from the ground up.
The Land Development Division reviews plats, development plans, and public infrastructure requirements to ensure new projects meet vital safety and engineering standards before construction begins. Their careful planning and oversight help ensure that our neighborhoods, roadways, drainage systems, and community spaces are built to support long-term safety and resilience.
A big thank‑you to our Land Development team for everything you do to keep our community growing safely and responsibly. We appreciate you!
