Our athletes are working hard to prepare for our Birdies on the Bay golf tournament on Saturday! Their leadership and dedication to Special Olympics extends beyond sports competition and we're incredibly proud of them!

These athletes will be on-hand at River Hills Country Club on Saturday, so make sure to join us and support Special Olympics in the Coastal Bend!

Our athletes are gearing up and beginning training for the fall/winter competition season. Our partners at TAMUCC want to help our teams make sure their athletes are fit and ready to compete!

You're invited to join them at the TAMUCC Gym on Sept. 19, Sept. 26 and October 3 for this fitness testing and conditioning opportunity. All SOTX athletes are welcome!

The final preparations are underway for Birdies on the Bay!

We spent the day out planning, preparing, and making those final arrangements for our Birdies on the Bay golf tournament benefiting Special Olympics Texas on September 12th.

Naturally, all that hard work required a lunch stop at Nolan’s. We did what any responsible tournament planners would do and passed on dessert…

But Nolan’s knew better.

Somehow, they knew we were going to need a carrot cake sugar boost to power through the rest of the day — so they basically guilted us into getting it. And, well… we’re glad they did.

Now we’re fueled up and ready to finish getting everything in place for September 12th!
