On 08/29/23 investigators with the Nueces County District Attorney's Criminal Interdiction Unit were notified, by members of the Victoria County Sheriff's Task Force, of a vehicle containing 3 subjects that were possibly headed to the Corpus Christi area and involved in criminal activity.

Investigatiors were able to locate the vehicle and developed reasonable suspicion to believe they were involved in retail theft from multiple businesses in the Sinton and Corpus Christi area. A short time later their suspicions were confirmed.

With the assistance of Corpus Christi Police Department Directed Patrol Officers, NCDA-CIU officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Staples and Williams Street in the City of Corpus Christi. All three subjects were placed in to custody and evidence linking them to multiple thefts was recovered.

While it is not normally the policy of the NCDA-CIU to post photographs of arrested persons, we have reason to believe there may be other victims in Nueces and San Patricio county. If any of these subjects entered your place of business and paid using a $100 bill, please check the serial number and if it matches the one listed below contact your local police department.

For agencies that believe they have cases involving these three and need more information please contact the Robstown Police department and ask to speak with an investigator with the Nueces County District Attorney's Criminal Interdiction Unit.

We would like to send a huge thanks to the Victoria County Sheriff's Department Task Force, because without their networking, this would have never come to fruition. This is the result of agencies collaborating and cooperating with one another. It is believed that these 3 have committed these same types of thefts throughout the country as evidence linked to crimes in other states was recovered.

This was a partnership that definitely needed to happen. Within the past year, we have executed 2 search warrants where children were removed by CPS and later tested positive for co***ne and m**h.

Thank you CPS for agreeing to proactively assist us. What we all do matters and saves lives.

Young kids are often found in homes with drugs present, so the county hopes that involving CPS sooner gets children out of dangerous situations more quickly.
