Meet Luka, our newest Cancer Warrior! Luka is an awesome 5-year-old boy battling Neuroblastoma.
Corona Firefighters visited the family with multiple Fire Engines and a Truck. We gifted a wagon to assist mom with getting Luka in and out of the hospital, plenty of toys for Luka and his little brother and a $1,000 donation to help assist with the cost of treatment. The Corona Firefighters have a storied history of assisting children with cancer. We actively reach out and help these families with anything they may need. Most importantly we spend time with these incredible kids, we get them to smile, laugh and even cause a little trouble. This job we are blessed with is about taking opportunities to make other people’s lives better, beyond what the tones require. The community is our life blood, and these kids are the heart 🧡
