RESCHEDULED ❄️☃️ Join us Sunday, March 1st, as we officially kick off this year’s campaign at the 2026 Orange County Democratic Convention.

We’re working to maintain our county’s strong Democratic leadership in Congress and the New York State Legislature, but this year there is so much more on the line. Building on our 2025 victories, we are expanding our efforts in every corner of the county. With many local races moving to the high-turnout even-year ballot, we have a historic chance to elect working-class leaders up and down the ticket.

From standing together against ICE expansion to fighting for lower costs for our families, we are rallying to build the power necessary to win this November and beyond.

Watch democracy in action as we nominate our 2026 champions, hear from our candidates directly, and see how you can help make Orange County a safe haven for good government and real policy solutions in spite of the federal administration’s chaos and destruction.

Just today the Democratic led Rules Committee of the Orange County Legislature advanced two key agenda items for the February 5th meeting, and we need your help! 🚨 Pack Public Comment is back, and it’s not going anywhere, because the OCNY Democratic Caucus took action on day one to move half of the legislature’s sessions to the evening when working people can make their voices heard.

We need your help supporting a resolution to OPPOSE the creation of ICE facilities in Orange County, like the proposed detention warehouse in Chester.

Our caucus is also working to advance the goal of expanding access to public transportation in Orange County. Legislators will vote on the creation of a task force to make that possible! They need to hear how transportation limitations in Orange County impact you.
