ATTN: CORNWALL-ON-HUDSON & TOWN OF CORNWALL RESIDENTS & GUESTS:

This upcoming June 11, 2026, from approximately 2:45pm till 6:30pm, Cornwall Central High School will be having their annual, CCHS Senior Prom Riverfront Park Picture Taking Event at Donahue Memorial Park, Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y., prior to attending their Prom.

Due to this Event, there will be a substantial increase in both vehicular and pedestrian traffic at the Park.

During this Event vehicle entry into the park will only be allowed via Dock Hill Road (eastbound traffic), and vehicles exiting the Park will only be allowed via Shore Road ( northwest traffic), to allow traffic to run smoothly.

Please be cognizant of the increased pedestrians walking both towards the park and then back to their vehicles before/ after their Riverfront Prom Photographs.

The Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson Police Department will also have several officers on hand to assist with both Traffic & Security.
The Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson Department of Public Works will also have signage prohibiting southeast bound traffic on Shore Road at both River Avenue/ Shore Road and Wood Avenue/ Shore Road.

NOTE: Shore Road traffic (southeast bound), will ONLY be allowed for local traffic/ residents living on Shore Road during the Event.

The Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson is seeking qualified applicants for a Deputy Village Treasurer / Payroll Clerk.

This role assists with the Village’s financial operations, including payroll, accounting, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field and/or equivalent experience in accounting or municipal finance. Payroll experience required.

💰 Salary: To be determined by the Village Board of Trustees based on qualifications and experience.

ATTN: Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson and Town of Cornwall Residents & Guests:

This upcoming Sunday, June 07, 2026, from 10:00am till 5:00pm, will be the annual, River Fest Event, which takes place at the Donahue Memorial Riverfront Park.

Due to this Event there will limited vehicular access & parking available from 9:00am till 6:00pm.

Parking will be limited to those who are affiliated with event (Vendors & River Fest Staff who have been issued passes), Handicapped Person(s) parking, and members of the Cornwall Yacht Club.

There will be Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson Police Department Officers assigned to Traffic & Security and will be at all access points to the Event.

There will be Road Closure Signs posted at the following locations within the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson:

• Top of Dock Hill Road/ Hudson Street.

• Shore Road/ River Avenue (vehicular access limited to only residents who reside on Shore Road).

• Shore Road/ Wood Avenue.

This is a great opportunity for hardworking individuals looking to gain hands-on experience working outdoors and helping maintain our beautiful village community throughout the summer season.

Duties may include:
• Grounds maintenance
• Landscaping and mowing
• Painting and general labor
• Assisting DPW staff with daily operations

🚨 NOW HIRING – WATER SUPERINTENDENT 🚨

The Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Water Superintendent.

This position is responsible for the planning, supervision, inspection, and coordination of the Village’s municipal water purification and distribution system to ensure an adequate and safe public water supply.

Minimum Qualifications Include:
✔️ Appropriate NYS water operator certifications
✔️ Experience in municipal water system operations and supervision preferred
✔️ Knowledge of water treatment and distribution systems
✔️ Valid NYS driver’s license required

Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits included.
