Today is National Literacy Day

The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), established International Literacy Day as an annual event that is promoted all over the world. The first celebration was September 8, 1965.

Itty Bitty Story time was so much fun this morning! The children enjoyed seeing Bob sing a song about libraries. We heard a story and did a coloring page too! Then we took a tour of the library and watched Bob choose a book and check it out at the front desk. We learned that libraries are a fun place to be!
