It’s Tuesday - the day AND the cat! 🐱

And just like some people are perfectly happy having a quiet Tuesday, Tuesday is perfectly happy doing her own thing. Tuesday would be a good fit if you’re looking for a cat who:

• Is independent and doesn't need constant attention
• Would be content as your one and only pet
• Is a low-maintenance companion
• Enjoys having her own space and routine
• Will happily keep you company without demanding it
• Is more of a “sit nearby and coexist” than a “follow you everywhere” cat

Odin is an easy-going guy who can be a little shy when he's in a new or unfamiliar situation. Once he feels comfortable, he enjoys playing with toys and getting brushed. He is a very good-natured boy who just needs someone willing to let him settle first.

One of Odin's favorite things about having other cats around is that they give him a sense of comfort. He is very non-confrontational with other cats and would be happy to have feline friends in his new home. He also keeps a clean area and has been using a potty pad in his litter box, so he's already showing us what a good boy he can be.

Odin is a 4-year-old neutered male Domestic Shorthair who is up to date on his vaccines. If you're looking for a sweet, quiet companion who just needs a little time to come out of his shell, come meet Odin!

Thor would like everyone to know that he is, in fact, a very good cat.

This big guy has a lot of personality once you give him a little time to get comfortable. Thor loves attention and will happily head butt you for pets while purring away. He also LOVES to play, especially with a fishing pole toy, and could probably spend hours batting it around.

Thor is also a big fan of food and isn't shy about making sure you know when it's mealtime. He does well with other cats, although he can occasionally be a bit of an attention hog. He is also litter trained, has good manners, and is five years old, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines.

Why is Finn sticking his tongue out at you? Because you haven’t visited him yet!

This friendly sweetheart is looking for a home, and somehow, he hasn't received a single application. He's family-friendly, pet-friendly, house-trained, young, healthy, affectionate, and just all-around a wonderful companion!

Reverse his judgement and come meet him at the shelter! ❤️😛

Name: Finn
Breed: Cur/Lab Mix
S*x: Neutered Male
Age: 1.5 years
Weight: 45lbs

History
Finn had been on our surrender waitlist when we found him running around the town with another dog.

Personality
Finn is new to the shelter, so we are still getting to know him. So far, he has been sweet and playful. He comes across as shy at first and will nervously "smile" to show he isn't a threat. Once he gets a pet or a treat, he is ready to cuddle and play. He will rub against your legs like a cat in an effort to get pets and absolutely loves the attention. He also likes to play with toys and seems to have some energy.

Behavior
What we know so far is limited, but we do know he is house-trained and knows "sit". He came in with another large, male dog and has met a larger female dog and he did great with them. He wanted to play but also respected their space if he became too much for them. He displays submissive behavior with people, and we can see that translate into his play style with other dogs. Still, we always recommend meet and greets if there is another pet in the home.

Health
Finn is already neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and microchipped. He is perfectly healthy!

🐶 Happy National Dog Day from adoptable Finn! 🐶

As you can see, Finn LOVES toys. In fact, one of his favorite ways to greet you is to bring you a toy. But as much as he loves his toys, there’s one thing he loves even more: you.

Finn is an absolute love bug. He loves being petted and will happily abandon a toy if it means getting some cuddles. Kneel down beside him and he’ll twirl himself right into your lap. He just wants to be close to his people.

And there’s even more to love about Finn:
🏠 House-trained and ready to settle into a home
🐾 Dog-friendly and plays great with canine friends
🎾 Playful and a good balance of energy and calm
🌎 Adventurous, curious, and ready to explore
🥰 Incredibly affectionate and eager to be loved

Finn is only 1½ years old! He’s a well-rounded, genuinely good boy who somehow hasn’t gotten much interest. We think he’s pretty special, and we’d love to see him finally find the family who will love him right back.

Despite his boisterous name, he is easygoing and incredibly sweet. He loves receiving attention, snacking on Churus, and showing you what a good boy he is. A few things he would like you to know he is:
