The Rotary Club of North Mecklenburg County is part of Rotary District 7680. The club meets at 12PM every Wednesday at The Peninsula Club in Cornelius, NC.

Rotary is one of the largest service organizations in the world with over 1.2 million members and 34,000 clubs around the world. In addition to providing services to our community and individuals around the world, our club has fun! . We welcome you to come and check out our club!

We are so grateful for everyone who made our Rally for Good Tournament such a huge success!

From our incredible players and dedicated volunteers to our generous sponsors and enthusiastic supporters—thank you for showing up, giving back, and making a real impact in our community. Because of you, the day was filled with great matches, lots of laughter, and a shared commitment to doing good.

Your participation and support will help us continue to serve and uplift those in need, and we couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you.

We’re proud of what we accomplished together—and we’re already looking forward to next year! 💙

We had another full Rotary meeting this week!

We were excited to welcome our newest member, Dylan Mott, to the club. We’re glad to have Dylan join us and look forward to the contributions he’ll make as we continue serving our community.

We also had the pleasure of hearing from our guest speakers from Santé Mobile Crisis Team, who provide 24/7 behavioral health crisis response across Mecklenburg County. Their team is doing incredibly important work to support individuals and families during critical moments, and we appreciate them sharing more about their impact in our community.

What a great weekend for our Rotary club!

We rolled up our sleeves for our Adopt-A-Highway cleanup, spent time with our amazing Interact Club, and proudly sent our President-Elect to PETS (President Elect Training Seminar) for training.

Service, leadership, and fellowship in action—this is Rotary at its best!

It was a busy week at the North Meck Rotary Club!

We were proud to welcome two new members to our club—John Larkin and Matt Gill. We’re excited to have them join our Rotary family and look forward to the ideas, energy, and service they will bring as we continue working to make a positive impact in our community.

Our guest speaker was Carolyn Dowdy, Founder and President of Caregiver Mental Wellness, who shared about her work supporting caregivers through self-care education.

We are kicking of the new year by hearing from three incredible local leaders! Thank you to the mayors of Huntersville, Cornelius, and Davidson for joining our Rotary Club and sharing how our towns are working together to strengthen our community.

It was inspiring to hear about the collaboration happening across our municipalities and to learn more about the exciting changes and initiatives coming to our area. Partnerships like these truly make a difference, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to learn from and support our local leadership.

As we finish up another wonderful year, our Rotary Club had the joy of shopping for and wrapping gifts to donate to those in our community. 🎁

🌟 Service Above Self in Action! 🌟

Over the past few weeks, our Rotary Club rolled up our sleeves and made a difference through three amazing service projects! Our club volunteered at Bridge of Hearts, Catawba River Sweep and the Habitat ReStore.

A huge thank you to all our Rotarians, families, and community partners who showed up to serve! Every small act of service creates a ripple of positive change.

Angie Miller, founder of Laura's Village, joined us at our meeting today. Laura’s Village is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by fostering independence, inclusion, and community connection.

We were inspired to hear Angie share the story behind the organization and the incredible impact it’s making in the lives of so many individuals and their families. Thank you, Angie, for the important work you do and for taking the time to be with us!
