Today is the first day of Lotería at the Park! We'll be at Harleman Park at 5pm, the game starts at 5:30! And of course the rest of the bookmobile stuff will be there too. Let's play!

Catch the buzz and be delighted as you zoom into the wonderful world of Oregon bees—we have over 500 different kinds! 🐝🍯🌻

Discover mason bees, cuckoo bees, mining bees, longhorn bees, and, of course, honeybees. They are vital to our food supply and endlessly fascinating. Enjoy lots of hands-on science fun and buzz-worthy activities while exploring these mighty mini-beasts of nature.

Today is our first teen event of the summer!

Recycled paper is certainly better for the environment than your regular tree paper, but that doesn't mean we can't get creative and have some fun with it too. 🌱📝🌺

Learn how to make your own recycled paper infused with usable seeds! Once the paper has fulfilled its use, you can plant it in the ground where the paper helps the seeds sprout and the entire sheet decomposes back into the earth bringing forth new life!

Today is our first Summer Reading Event!

This year's Summer Reading Challenge theme is, "Plant a Seed" and that's exactly what we're going to do for our first summer program! Plant sunflower seeds, build greenhouses, and examine plants up close with microscopes from their flowers to their roots. ☀🌱🌻
