🌱🍅 Farm-to-Table in Action! 🍽️

Our Culinary Arts students enjoyed a hands-on learning experience at Tubby Creek Farms in Ashland, MS. They explored sustainable farming practices, harvested fresh produce of their choice, and sampled vegetables straight from the field—including watermelon radishes, arugula, and kohlrabi.

Back in the kitchen, students transformed their harvest into delicious dishes such as sautéed collard greens, boiled cabbage, fried green tomatoes, onion rings, fresh salad with ginger vinaigrette, and fresh-caught brim. A perfect lesson in the farm-to-table journey! 🌾👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Congrats to the 21 students who are members of the new Corinth High School ACT 30 Club! These students achieved a composite or superscore of 30 or higher on the national ACT assessment.

Members include Oliver Bailey, Melissa Bullock, Ella Bumpus, Mazzie Castille, Henry Ellenburg, Jack Frame, Kate Frame, Donovan Harville, Neveah Leanord, Ivy Monaghan, Declan Murphree, Ben Pham, Ellie Kate Reeves, Thomas Senf, Caleb Simmons, Tucker Skelton, Annie Stanley, Braxton Stevens, Sam Walker, Jackson Wigginton and Ethan Young.

With approximately 1.5 million students taking the ACT annually across the United States, reaching this score places our students in the top 6% of test-takers nationwide. This honorary club serves as a testament to the dedication, intellectual rigor, and hard work of our students.
