We’re proud to introduce our newest thermal imaging drone, designed to enhance fire service operations and strengthen community safety. Equipped with advanced thermal technology, this drone provides real-time aerial intelligence when seconds matter most.

Key response capabilities include:
• 🔥 Structure fires: Rapidly locate heat signatures to assist in identifying trapped occupants, fire spread, and hidden hotspots
• 🧭 Search & rescue: Detect lost or injured hikers in low visibility, wooded, or nighttime conditions
• 🌊 Water rescues: Identify heat signatures on the water to support faster, safer rescue operations

By providing firefighters and emergency responders with a clear aerial perspective, this technology improves situational awareness, reduces risk to personnel, and helps deliver faster, more effective outcomes for the community we serve.

This is another step forward in using innovation to protect lives, property, and those who protect us every day.

Our new drone was utilized today for the first time at a structure fire. This was key in locating hot spots to effectivily extinguish the fire and reduce the chances of a rekindle.

We would like to congratulate our "home town hero" and sister of Chief Granger on this award. We can't thank Renee Reardon enough for her support towards our department and community.

Renee Reardon has significantly impacted her community through her long-standing role at McDonald's, where she began working at 16.
