Bring the whole family out on August 8th, 2026 from 6PM–9PM at the Richmond County Airport for a night full of fun, food, and community fellowship!

Our Staff at Cordova Fire Rescue would like to commend Mountain Creek Fire Department on their hard work and dedication in lowering their ISO rating to better the community, it was an honor for our team to be present for the reveal. This county is headed to do great things and I am thankful my team can be apart of it. Again this is big for MT Creek and they should be very proud. Sincerely staff of Cordova Fire and Rescue

Today several members assisted with a community outreach event at Krystal Dawn Retreat. Each year Krystal dawn hold a spring carnival for Autism Awareness. Members of both our medical team and water rescue team were present to help with the event. Approximately 40-50 children attended the event where there were hay rides, train rides, bounce houses, fishing, a petting zoo, and lots of games along with Hot Dogs and snacks. We are proud to be a part of these event with this organization where we can give back to the community that supports us so much.

As an ongoing project to provide a insurance discount to all our citizens, station 2 is coming along nicely, this will help lower our ISO rating which determines the insurance premiums you pay, we appreciate everyone involved with the building of this station and the ongoing support of our community.
