September is Su***de Awareness Month, and CFRC invites you to join us for an evening of creativity, connection, and encouragement.

This month, we’ll be creating a beautiful Macramé Leaf Wall Hanging. No experience is needed! This project is beginner-friendly, and all supplies will be provided.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ We’re looking for volunteer coaches this fall!

Looking to be more active this fall? How about making a positive, meaningful impact in childrens' lives in our community? CFRC is looking for caring adults to volunteer with the Girls on the Run and Let Me Run programs this fall.

You do not need to be a runner or have coaching experience to be a great coach! We provide the training, curriculum, and support—you bring your time (and we are flexible if it is limited), encouragement, and willingness to be a positive role model.

Tuesdays & Thursdays | 3:30–5 PM

Both teams will finish their season with a 5K on October 23! 🎉

As someone who has coached these programs before, I can tell you that you get just as much out of the experience as the kids do. Watching their confidence grow, seeing them encourage one another, and being there when they accomplish something they didn’t think they could do is pretty special.

Let Me Run is coming back to Cordova this fall! 🏃‍♂️💚

This is Jessica Wray. I’m really excited to be coaching Let Me Run this year! I was a lead coach with the program a few years ago, and this fall I’ll be back as Head Coach, helping coordinate CFRC’s running programs. It’s great to be coming back to a program I’ve enjoyed being part of, and I’m looking forward to reconnecting with familiar faces, welcoming new runners, and having a fun season with our team!

Let Me Run is open to boys in 4th–6th grade and is about much more than running. Throughout the season, we’ll work on fitness, proper running form, stretching, teamwork, confidence, and healthy habits—all while giving the boys a chance to get outside, be active, and have fun together.

📅 Season starts September 9, 2026
👟 Mondays & Wednesdays
⏰ 3:30–5PM
📍 Mt. Eccles Elementary
🏁 5K: October 23, 2026

Registration is $171.52 (possible partial scholarships available). We don’t want financial need to prevent a boy from participating, so please reach out to CFRC if assistance would help make participation possible.

Girls on the Run is back at Mt. Eccles Elementary this fall! We are excited to welcome 3rd–6th graders for a season filled with movement, friendship, confidence-building, and FUN!

This is Jessica Wray, and I will be the head coach for this wonderful program this year. I’m so happy to be back! I had the opportunity to be a lead coach a few years ago, and this fall I’ll be returning as Head Coach and helping coordinate CFRC’s running programs. I’m really looking forward to seeing some familiar faces, meeting new runners, and having a great season together!

In her honor, this funding allows CFRC to offer free registration to every Cordova participant this season, helping ensure more girls have the opportunity to experience GOTR! 💜🏃‍♀️
