As of 7:30am on 4-18-26, BB Hwy north of Corder remains closed as crews continue to replace downed poles and line.

A reminder that the City of Corder will be conducting a test of the tornado siren at 10:30am on Thursday, March 5th. The siren will sound as if a tornado warning has been issued for our area. However, this will only be a test.

Edit: Due to the potential for severe weather, this test will be postponed to Thursday, March 5th at 10:30am.

The City of Corder will be participating in the statewide tornado drill on Wednesday, March 4th at 10:30am. At that time, the tornado siren will sound. This will be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather such as high wind or thunderstorms.
