A great game was played yesterday by our Crisp County High School Softball Lady Cougars! 💙💛

Cougars beat Jordan in a doubleheader: in the first game, 16-1. And in the second game, 15-0. 🥎🥎

Way to go Team! Our next home matchup is scheduled for September 8th against Colquitt County @ 6:00.

The Crisp County High School Nutrition and Food Science Pathway classes enjoy a lab with Mrs. Green from the UGA Expanded Food and Nutrition Program. Students are introduced to "Teen Cuisine" in which eating smart and basic cooking skills take the stage. This week students prepare healthy and delicious dips that are high in protein, fiber and vitamins!

A tremendous day at CCHS yesterday, as we recognized and honored Senior Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Makenzy Powell!! ✨

Makenzy was awarded the Legion of Valor Award for 2026. The Legion of Valor Bronze Cross for Achievement is one of the highest and most prestigious national honors awarded to high school JROTC cadets and college ROTC cadets.

Cougars, get ready to show your pride! 2026 CCHS Homecoming Spirit Week is September 14–18, and we’re counting down to A Night in Rio with five days of fun, creativity, and school spirit!
Grab your besties on Monday for Birds of a Feather and twin with your favorite friend or crew. On Tuesday, bring a little magic to CCHS for Disney Day by dressing as your favorite Disney character. Wednesday is Celebrity Day, so channel your favorite star and give us your best red-carpet look. Then, suit up in all black, FBI style, for Secret Service Thursday. We’ll finish the week by lighting up the halls for Rio Radiance Friday and our grade-level Color Wars: 9th Yellow, 10th Orange, 11th Blue, and 12th Pink!

Check out the flyer, start planning those outfits, and get ready to make Spirit Week one to remember.
