Jarrett Kendrick has built an outstanding agricultural education career through livestock production, entrepreneurship, leadership, and hard work. His SAE began with sheep and goats and expanded into the family enterprise, Kendrick Club Lambs, where he helps make management decisions and sells quality club lambs to FFA and 4-H exhibitors across the Southeast and beyond. Throughout his agricultural education career, Jarrett has invested over $60,000 into his SAE projects along with dedicating thousands of hours to livestock production, farming, entrepreneurship, and agricultural leadership. Throughout his career, Jarrett earned numerous champion titles across Georgia and became a respected leader within the show barn community.
Jarrett has been dedicated to work both inside and outside of the classroom. He managed and sold produce through his own business, Jarrett Produce and Processing, worked year-round with Kendrick Club Lambs, farmed alongside both of his grandfathers during peanut season, and has worked with Southern Fiber Worx since January. He also helped introduce FFA members to the sheep industry by allowing them to experience the lambing and ewe management process firsthand.
A member of FFA since sixth grade, Jarrett served as middle school FFA President and earned numerous accomplishments including Crop Production Record Book State Winner, Area V Livestock Judging High Individual honors, and multiple top individual finishes in the Georgia FFA Livestock Evaluation CDE. He completed the Agriscience, Forestry/Animal Science, Horticulture/Animal Science, and Horticulture/Forestry pathways while also earning his State FFA Degree this year.
Jarrett plans to attend the University of Georgia and major in Agricultural Engineering.
