September is LOVE YOUR LIBRARY month, and we are asking for your financial support. Every dollar donated this month helps our library continue to provide a diverse print and e-book collection and assists us in hosting special yearlong in-house programs for both children and adults.

Tomorrow is the last day of our 6-week long summer reading program. Thank you to everyone who registered for the program, and thank you to everyone who attended and participated in our events. We hope that you read some great books and made some fun memories with us.

To celebrate the wrap-up of our program, we are hosting our annual beach party on Friday, July 24th from 10:00-11:30 a.m. for anyone who registered for the summer reading program. Come join us for indoor and outdoor games, light refreshments, and prizes!

We're heading into our last week of summer reading next week, so if you haven't yet picked up your prizes for our second reading progress check-in, you still have time.

Our final event, our Summer Reading Beach Party, will be held here at the library on Friday, July 24th from 10:00-11:30. Anyone who participated in our summer reading program is welcome to attend. We are giving away many prizes, including gift baskets, gift cards, and our grand prize is a Kindle Paperwhite.

Summer Reading progress check-in week begins today and runs through July 24th. If you've been reading, stop by to have your reading log signed by a staff member. Children ages 0-4 will receive the "A Day at the Beach" book by Eric Carle plus get an inflatable dinosaur beach ball. Children ages 5-12 will receive the green "Unearth A Story" aluminum water bottle.

Teens and Adults, don't forget to come in for your weekly raffle ticket. We have given away many gift cards these past four weeks of summer reading, and you could be our next winner. All weekly raffle tickets will be eligible to be entered into our final drawing for a new Kindle Paperwhite which will be given out on Friday, July 24th.
