Today, members of the Coram Fire Department proudly honored the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

Through the laying of wreaths and the placement of memorial flags, we remember and pay tribute to all those who served and defended the freedoms we enjoy every day. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication will never be forgotten.

This Memorial Day, we ask our community to join us in reflecting on the true meaning of the holiday and honoring the heroes who gave everything for our country.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

The Chiefs, Commissioners, Officers, and Members of the Coram Fire Department would like to congratulate FDNY Lieutenant and Coram Fire Department Chief, Christopher Wood on his retirement after more than 27 years of dedicated service to the city of New York.

Congratulations on this next chapter, and best of luck in your well-earned retirement.
