It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our former members.

David Findley proudly served on the Coralville Fire Department for nine years, beginning in 1992, and dedicated four of those years as a Training Officer. During his time with the department, he helped shape and mentor countless firefighters, sharing not only his knowledge and experience, but his commitment to service and community. We are grateful for the years he gave to this department and to the City of Coralville. His service will not be forgotten.

Please keep his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of serving alongside him in your thoughts during this difficult time.

While we’ll miss him in his employee role, we’re incredibly grateful that he will continue to serve as a volunteer and remain part of the Coralville Fire family.
