Join the city of Coral Springs on September 11 as we come together in front of the 9/11 Memorial to honor and remember those we lost. Residents are invited to pay their respects throughout the day..

The ceremony will happen Friday, Sept. 11, at 8:30 a.m. in front of Northwest Regional. This time the city will mark 25 years since the attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people.

Count the flags on the lawn and you get 424. Each one stands for a first responder who died in the line of duty that day — 343 firefighters, 73 law enforcement officers and eight EMTs and paramedics.

The city will honor victims by laying a wreath in front of the 9/11 memorial.
