City of Coral Springs Charter School

City of Coral Springs Charter School Coral Springs Charter School serves grades six through twelve. We are committed to being a premier educational community.

Coral Springs Charter School was established in 1999 in Coral Springs, Florida. The school was originally constructed in 1977 as an enclosed mall. When the mall failed and the city foreclosed on the owner, the nearly vacant structure was rented by Charter Schools USA and converted into a combination middle school and high school, serving students in grades 6 through 12.

Today we had the privilege of celebrating some very special members of the Coral Springs Charter family for their years of service, while also honoring colleagues who are retiring and recognizing those who will be moving on to new opportunities.

While the numbers on the balloons are important, they only tell part of the story. What truly matters is the impact these educators and staff members have had on our students, families, and school community. Whether they are being recognized for years of service, celebrating retirement, or beginning a new chapter elsewhere, each person has helped shape the culture and success of Coral Springs Charter School.

Thank you for your dedication, commitment, and the countless ways you have made a difference. Congratulations to all of our honorees, best wishes to our retirees, and heartfelt thanks to those we are saying farewell to. You will always be a part of the Panther family.

What began as a vision to beautify our cafeteria became something much more meaningful.

Each letter in “GO PANTHERS🐾” tells a story. Through themes of character, academics, diversity, student life, clubs, school traditions, and the experiences that make our school unique, students captured what Coral Springs Charter means to them. Every brushstroke represents creativity, collaboration, and the spirit of our community.

Today, these canvases found their permanent home in our cafeteria, where they will inspire current students and future generations of Panthers for years to come.

What makes this project so special isn’t just the artwork itself—it’s the student voices behind it. These young artists worked together, shared ideas, reflected on our school culture, and created something that will leave a lasting legacy on our campus.

We are incredibly grateful to Mrs. Krar and our student artists for reminding us that the arts do more than decorate our walls—they tell our story.

Take a look at the artwork and hear directly from the students as they explain the meaning behind their creations.

From Panther to Air Force Officer ✈️🇺🇸

Coral Springs Charter School is incredibly proud to celebrate alumna Sabrina Basso on her graduation from the United States Air Force Academy, Class of 2026.

Sabrina earned her Bachelor of Science in History, will continue her studies at the University of Florida pursuing a master’s degree in European History with a concentration in Holocaust Studies, and has been commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force.
