“CAVALIERS FUTURE LEADERS PROGRAM” - Year 3

PROVIDING OUR YOUTH with the opportunity to grow and learn is the purpose behind the Cavaliers Future Leaders Program which I initiated 3 years ago. Gables High students (my Alma Mater) are provided with the opportunity to work in and experience local government first-hand rotating across different departments interacting with elected officials and senior administrators. Along with the City’s Summer Page Program, Coral Gables believes in providing our youth with the tools and experiences needed to be future leaders!

The Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce presented the “State of Florida Legislative Round-Up 2024” at the University of Miami with several of our state legislative leaders on hand to discuss a great many issues important to our community as well as provide an in-depth behind the scenes look at the dynamics at play in Tallahassee that impact approrpriations, housing, insurance and state preemption of local laws.
