Johnny Clayton Taylor Jr. is an American lawyer, author and public speaker who is the president & CEO of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). He was previously president & CEO of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), which represents the US's 47 publicly supported historically Black colleges and universities. In February 2018, President Donald Trump appointed Taylor Chair of the President's Advisory Board on Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Taylor was also on the board of Gallup, a research-based, global performance-management consulting company. From December 2016 until leaving the board in mid-2018, he was chair of the Cooper Union Governance Committee and as member of the Executive Committee. Along with Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC Partners Chief Information Officer and Cooper Union alumnus Eric Hirschhorn, Taylor co-chaired the school's search committee for a full-time president. Taylor was elected to the board of trustees of the University of Miami on May 5, 2017.

Michael Irvin (born March 5, 1966) is an American sports commentator and former football wide receiver. Irvin played college football at the University of Miami, and was selected in the first round of the 1988 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys. He spent his entire 12-year National Football League (NFL) career (1988-1999) with the team, before it ended due to a spinal cord injury. Irvin was nicknamed "The Playmaker" due to his penchant for making big plays in big games during his college and pro careers. He is one of three key Cowboys offensive players who helped the team attain three Super Bowl wins: he is known as one of "The Triplets" along with Troy Aikman and Emmitt Smith.[1] He is also a former broadcaster for ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown and currently an analyst for NFL Network. In 2007, he was selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Miami-Dade County's First African-American assistant public defender, and then as the County's First African-American assistant county attorney. He was a partner in the First African American law firm to locate its office in Downtown Miami. For the past 47yrs, H.T. has practiced law in Miami, specializing in civil rights,personal injury,and criminal defense. He was voted Top Trial Lawyer of 2017 by the Dade County Bar Association, and the National Law Journal recognized him as one ofthe top 10 trial lawyers of the year. He was inducted into the “Legal Legends” Miami-Dade County. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America, SuperLawyers, Law and Leading American Attorneys. H.T. was one of the lead attorneys in the successful legal challenge to Ward Connelly’s effort to pass a Constitutional Amendment-outlawing affirmative action in public education, public employment, and public contracting. In his argument to the Florida Supreme Court, H.T. described Connelly’s so-called “Civil Rights Initiative” as a “cruelhoax” on the people of Florida.H. T. was the founding President of the Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. Bar Association, and Founding Member of the Gwen S. Cherry Black Women Lawyers Association. He also served as President of the Virgil Hawkins Florida Chapter of the National Bar Association, which is the largest bar association for people of color. 1986-1990, H.T. chaired the Free South Africa Movement, leading the successful effort to persuade governmental entities, universities, and pension funds to divest theirfinancial interests in companies doing business in apartheid South Africa. From 1990-1993, H.T. led the highly successful Boycott Miami Campaign whichwas organized after local politicians snubbed the legendary Nelson Mandela during his historic visit to Miami and lasted 1,000 days – costing Miami Tourism Industry in excessof $100 million. The boycott settlement resulted in significant economic and educationalopportunities for African Americans, including the development of the First Black-owned convention-quality hotel in the United States–on the ocean, in Miami Beach.

Utrailblazers Deborah Enix-Ross, Esq. is a double Cane. She graduated from
the University of Miami with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism in 1978 and a
Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 1981.
She is the first African American woman to Chair the American Bar
Association (ABA)'s Section of International Law, Center for Human Rights
and its House of Delegates. She is now in line to become ABA
President-Elect in February 2021. Blazing trails in international law and
human rights, and creating opportunities for women around the world, she is
proud to stand on the shoulders of the African Americans who created
opportunities for her to pick up the torch and also become a trailblazer.
