Dear Parents and Guardians,
Early giving for North Texas Giving Day is officially open! Our campaign culminates on Thursday, September 17, and I would like to share why your support is so vital to our school as we transition to Founders Classical Academy of Coppell.
Unlike traditional Independent School Districts (ISDs) that rely on local property tax revenues, charter schools depend almost entirely on state funding allocations. To bridge this gap, we must be intentional and resourceful in financing our classroom needs and programs.
Participating in North Texas Giving Day helps us:
Fund Essential Programs: Fill critical financial gaps to keep our core academic offerings strong.
Expand Opportunities: Upgrade classroom technology, refresh learning materials, and sustain extracurricular activities.
Support Our Transition: Provide essential funds as we transition to Founders Classical Academy of Coppell, ensuring our students have the high-quality resources they need for a seamless and successful shift.
Our goal this year is $30,000. Because early giving is active right now, you don't have to wait until September 17 to make an impact. Every gift—no matter the size—moves us closer to our target.
Headmaster Challenge & Classroom Competition!
The Headmaster Challenge: A few years ago, when we hit our goal, I dyed my beard blue. Many of you have asked if I would bring back a challenge—so if we reach our $30,000 goal this year, I will dye my beard orange!
Classroom Prizes: When making your donation, please include your student's name and class in the donor notes so your classroom gets credit. Here is what classes can win:
1st Place: 1 week of free dress + Pizza and ice cream party with Mr. Sisk and Mrs. Blackmon
2nd Place: 1 week of free dress + Ice cream party with Mr. Sisk and Mrs. Blackmon
3rd Place: 1 week of free dress + Extra recess with Mr. Sisk and Mrs. Blackmon
Top Homeroom (Per Grade Level): 1 week of free dress
School-Wide Celebration: Free dress day + School-wide popsicle party for everyone if we meet our overall target!

Coppell Classical Academy is hiring After-School Care Workers! High school juniors and seniors are welcome to apply—you can head straight over as soon as your school day ends.

The Details:

Role: After-School Care Worker

Location: Coppell Classical Academy

Pay: $17.00/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Eligibility: Great fit for local high school juniors & seniors (start right after school!)

Our wonderful PTO volunteers worked magic to get things ready for tomorrow’s (8/10/26) Meet the Teacher Day. We are excited to see our students and families as they walk through the doors for the 2026-27 school year.

K & 5th grades 9:00am-10:00am
1st & 3rd grades 10:30am-11:30am
2nd & 4th grades 12:00pm-1:00pm
6th grade 1:30pm-2:00pm

Summer Reading Assignment/Narration Lessons
The students were not the only ones with summer reading assignments! This summer, the teachers read “Narration, The Voice of the Trivium”, by Adrienne Freas, as they sharpened their narration teaching skills to improve their students’ classroom experience.
During in-service, they gathered as teams to teach narration lessons to their coworker “students”. The teachers had a wonderful time experiencing the beauty of narration as elementary students and learning from their coworkers and teammates.
