A lot of people will look at this picture and simply see a hot wash following a live fire evolution. But if you look closer, you’ll notice something more.

Our newly appointed chief, Ryan Arthur, stands quietly in the background, listening, observing, and taking it all in. He spent time at the drill field with all three shifts, not to criticize or insert himself into the process, but to support the members doing the work.

True leadership is not always found in speeches, commands, or being the loudest voice in the room. More often, it’s found in presence, humility, and genuine investment in your people. Leadership is proven through actions long before words.

Strong start, Chief.

While we may banter back and forth in a friendly rivalry from time to time, we are privileged to serve alongside our brothers and sisters in blue every day.
Please join us in showing appreciation for all that the officers and staff at Coppell Police Department do to keep our wonderful community safe and connected.

Respect. Honor. Remember.

This week is National Police Week. Established in 1962 by President John F. Kennedy, National Police Week was created to honor the law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities and to recognize the dedication of those who wear the badge each and every day.

Thank you to all of those who serve, both past and present. We are grateful for your service and sacrifice.
