September is a big month at the CFD as we celebrate two outstanding career milestones!

Congratulations to Engineer Jason Pace on 20 years of service and to Engineer Brandon Jones on 10 years with CFD!

Twenty years and ten years means a lot of calls, long shifts, training days, and plenty of memories made along the way. Most importantly, it represents years of showing up for our community and our crews.

We’re proud to have both of you on the team and appreciate everything you’ve contributed to the Coppell Fire Department.

Congratulations, Jason and Brandon! We appreciate you and look forward to what’s ahead. 👊🏼🔥

Please take some time this week to visit one of the flag displays located in front of our fire stations (except Station 3) or Town Center. Each station has placed 343 flags to pay respects to those 343 FDNY firefighters who never made it home on September 11, 2001.

The flags will be on display all week, and we also invite you to attend the Patriot Day ceremony on Friday morning at 8:30 AM in front of Coppell Town Center, which will commemorate the 25th Anniversary of 9-11.

Several of our firefighters and Chief Arthur joined the annual Dallas 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb over the weekend, which is an event to commemorates the incredible bravery and sacrifice of the 343 Firefighters and 72 Police Officers that were lost on 9/11/2001.

Officers and firefighters from across the metroplex made the 110 floor climb up the Comerica Bank Tower in Downtown Dallas in full bunker gear, while wearing a lanyard containing the name of a fallen first responder.

It is an honor to participate in this climb alongside several other agencies from across DFW, and to reflect on this critical moment in our shared American history.

Happy Labor Day! If you're lucky enough to enjoy a day off, please celebrate safely and responsibly.

Three new members have joined the CFD family!

Last month has been a little busy for the Hodges, Moreno, and Nichols families as they welcomed 3 sweet babies into the world!

Congratulations to all three families! We’re so happy for you and can’t wait to watch these little ones grow. ❤️

Welcome to the CFD family, little ones!

We had a fantastic turnout at our Public Safety blood drive with Carter Blood care yesterday co-hosted by Coppell Police Department, Coppell Fire Department City of Coppell Texas, and City of Coppell, TX Municipal Government Public Works Department.

We had 31 units of blood collected, which according to the National Institute of Health translates to saving around 93 lives! 🤯

We are proud of our community coming together for such a meaningful cause. ❤️💙🧡
