Don't forget to stop up into Taconic State Park Copake Falls for some food, fun, and fur babies! We are collecting donation items for Hudson Paws Dog Rescue while they are here, so be sure to bring something if you can.

The fabulous 🐍Reptile Adventure🐍🐢🦎 will be teaching us about all scaley creatures!

Elevated Gatherings Food truck is going to be here on site. We will also have some games and fun for all youth and young at heart! Stop over for fun little afternoon with us!

Hi All!!! Don't forget we got some goings on going on at Taconic State Park on Saturday, 9/5 11am-3pm.

Stop by for a bite to eat with Elevated Gathering, make friends with a lizard or snake with Reptile Adventure, meet an adoptable dog, and make a donation with Hudson Paws.

We are collecting items for Hudson Paws Dog Rescue. They're especially asking for dog treats, dog toys, puppy p*e pads, and soft blankets.

The algae gave us a beautiful break yesterday, but decided to migrate and bloom overnight. Please remember that this closure is for the health and safety of our patrons. Always follow the directives of park staff and posted notices.

Swimming is available at Lake Taghkanic. Please call our park offices at Rudd (518)789-3039 or Copake Falls (518)329-3993 with any questions.

Staff will continue to monitor conditions and we will make any necessary changes to this announcement as needed.

🐕Happy National Dog Day!🐕 Today is about celebrating all dogs, promoting dog adoption, and raising awareness for animal welfare. 🐶

Celebrate your K9 best friend by stopping into the Park and having them become a BARK Ranger. 🐾🐾🐾 You can also support a dog rescue or SPCA.

On September 5th we'll be continuing our observance with Hudson Paws Dog Rescue bringing some foster pups, AND we'll be collecting items from their wishlist!

Soft blankets, dry or wet dog food, peanut butter (no sugar/alternative sugars or added oils), dog toys, paper towels, garbage bags, dog treats, or something else. Check out their wish list on their donation page. https://www.hudsonpaws.org/donate
