Hygge (pronounced hoo-gah) is a Danish and Norwegian cultural concept that describes a deep sense of coziness, comfort, contentment, and everyday well-being. The Coos Bay Public Library would like to help you develop a sense of hygge with our new program, Hygge and Relaxation. Come into the library on Saturday morning before we open and enjoy the quiet atmosphere to read a book, do a puzzle, or color a picture. Warm drinks will be provided to help you fully relax and enjoy the library during its most quiet time.

The library door will be open from 10:30-10:45 to let program participants enter the library, after which no entry will be allowed.

If you would like to enjoy a little quiet time to read, puzzle, color, or just think join us and find your hygge.

We are looking for a volunteer to be the DM for a monthly D&D game for teens and tweens at Coos Bay Library! This program will start with the basics of building a character and then move on to short campaigns.
