PPL provided the Township with an update late this morning:
An estimated 2,000 people remain without power in the Lehigh Valley, Bucks County and Montgomery County area. PPL is anticipating that power will be restored to our area by 11 PM tonight before they send crews up north to assist with the Pocono area.
Please note that there have been a couple of occurrences where residents are being alerted that power is restored in their area, but some individual residents still remain without power. If this does happen to you, please report it to PPL by calling their 1 800 number at 1-800-DIAL-PPL, texting "outage" to "TXTPPL", or reporting it online here https://pplelectric.com/sitecore/content/ppl-jss-app/home/Outages-and-Issues

PPL Electric Utilities provided a news release yesterday afternoon, offering updates regarding power restoration to the area after this past weekend's storms. The damage results have ranked this as a Top 10 PPL storm, and that was even before last night's weather added more fuel to the fire.
Additional crews are being called in from out of state to help restore power. You can check the online outages map for an estimation on power restoration in your area here: https://omap.prod.pplweb.com/omap
Customers without power as a result of the storms can be reimbursed by PPL for the purchase of up to 3 gallons of water and 3 ten pound bags of ice per day from a local vendor (view article for full details).
