Throughout August, the Cookeville Police Department responded to and initiated more than 4,200 calls for service while continuing to serve and protect our community.

Here’s a look at CPD’s activity for the month:

This one is especially close to my heart. 🎗️💛

Our family knows firsthand the difficult road of childhood cancer. Through treatments, surgeries, uncertainty, and some of our deepest moments of despair, our faith and trust in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has sustained us and God has continually shown us His faithfulness.

2 Corinthians 1:8–9 reminds us that when we are burdened beyond our own strength, we learn “not to trust in ourselves but in God.”

Seeing Cookeville City Hall shine gold this September means more than I can express.
For every child. For every family. For a cure. And through it all, we trust in Him. 🎗️💛

🟡 September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month 🟡

The international symbol for childhood cancer awareness is the gold ribbon, which is why the lights at City Hall will shine gold for the rest of this month.

Please join us in raising awareness, supporting research for cancer cures, and honoring the children and families fighting against pediatric cancer.
