It is with great sadness that we share that one of our Valley West families experienced a devastating house fire last evening.

The Kelchner family is facing an incredibly difficult time. As Matt and Kristina, begin to navigate the days ahead, we want to come together as a community to support them.

Today is the day which begins enforcement of the new Paul Miller-Distracted Drive Law in Pennsylvania.

It is now a primary offense, meaning you can be stopped and cited for holding or supporting your phone with any part of your body while operating a motor vehicle.

Congratulations, Eric Connor Laskosky!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Cub Scout Eric Connor Laskosky this evening!

Chief Eibach had the honor of representing Conyngham Borough in presenting Eric with a special recognition and achievement award. Eric was the shining star of the night, as Scouting America awarded him the National Heroism Award for his brave and quick-thinking actions under pressure.
When his father was severely injured, Eric stepped up and used the lifesaving skills he learned in Scouting to care for him until medical personnel arrived. His courage and composure made all the difference.
Eric, you are a true hero and a wonderful example of what Scouting is all about. Your family, your fellow scouters, Conyngham Borough, and your entire community are so very proud of you!
Keep shining, young man. The future is bright because of scouts like you!
